A.R.F.F.
Welcome to Awesome Racing Flyball Fanatics! We're a region 13 flyball club located in metro west Massachusetts. We practice at Gemini Dogs in Littleton, MA. Our club is very active and we are currently seeking new members. Don't have any experience in flyball? That's okay...as long as you have the dedication to learn the sport, we can teach you. If you're interested in checking out the A.R.F.F. club, please contact Barb Black.
A.R.F.F. Club Philosophy
We believe that playing Flyball should be a balanced mix of fun, exercise, and competition. We love winning and getting titles as much as anybody else, but not at the expense of our club or our dogs. This quote from fellow dog-training enthusiasts sums up our philosophy very well: "While some of us may intend to be competitive in performance, we believe it need not influence anything more than our level of dedication. If in our competitiveness we lose this simple pleasure of enjoying our dogs, training and spending time with like-minded friends, we’ve really missed the point entirely." In other words, if we're not having fun, then we're doing something wrong.
With that said, there is some work required in order to have fun. Everyone in the A.R.F.F. club contributes some effort towards the team, whether it be box loading, helping to train a green dog, rolling up the mats, calling passes, or just cheering on teammates. This camaraderie, along with a shared philosophy, has helped A.R.F.F. build a strong foundation that will keep us playing together for years to come.

ARFF club members and their dogs had a GREAT time at this year's Mardi Gras Madness tournament in Fitchburg, MA. We ran two open teams and one multibreed team, coming in at first, second and third place in their divisions. Two of our dogs, Eika and Mandy, earned their FMX (Flyball Master Excellent) title. Now we are gearing up for tournaments in Manchester, NH and Dover, NH, and training a couple new puppies. It's been a busy winter for ARFF!
